Brent grew up on a ranch near Calgary, Alberta, where he discovered his Country music roots.
In the early days of his career he spent some of the winter months in Mexico, where he found a lot of inspiration for songwriting. He released his first single in Canada in 1989 and has continued with six more since then.
In 1994 Brent released his first album "Waiting For The Sun" for which he received several Recording industry nominations in Canada. His newest album has been released in 1999 and the first single from it "Chevy Blue Eyes" became Brent's first top 20 chart hit.
Brent is nominated for "Most Outstanding Male Artist" and "Best Country Artist" by the Canadian Recording Industry. Together with his band Brent has performed on many stages in Canada, USA and Europe.
